Marry Your Best Friend

I am so blessed. Not many people can just say they married their best friend.

I mean literal best friend.....

When landon and I first met I told him I wouldn't date him.

Not so typical teenage girl right?!

But I had promised myself going into senior I would remain single and focus on my plans of attending medical school in college.

Little did I know God had other plans!

As senior year unfolded Landon was so patient and gentle with my heart.

He gave me time to develop into my senior year and remained a constant friend without pushing me along... until it was clear we were gonna get together after lots of prayer!!

From the very beginning landon was always so gentle and patient with my heart. He was pursuing me in a godly and gentle way. That spoke volumes to me in the season I was trying to stay in singleness. God softened my heart and lead landon and I together. Through highschool to college to long distance he has remained my constant and steady

BEST FRIEND!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Hebrews 12: 1-3
