Mind Over Matter

Remember:

♠️You are not your mind. ♠️

I read this quote this morning and it hit me hard. These last few weeks have been really long, and honestly I haven’t been my best mentally.

I have been very busy. I’ve been pouring my heart and mind into many projects. The creative juices have been flowing as I write, and create. The planning of a wedding unfolding before my eyes has been beautiful. Piecing together the pieces of my future and where it lies has been confusing. Saying goodbye to landon again hit hard.

I am so blessed, But sometimes life can still just hit ya. And it doesn’t always hit you in the form of anxiety or a mental breakdown. Sometimes it’s in the Growing Pains of growing your mind. And I think that’s where life finds me today.

I’m growing, constantly and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. But as my world, expands and grows, it’s not just my physical or emotional strength that must stretch, it’s also my mental. And I think that is the biggest workout of them all!

So you may find yourself stuck in your head, remember, that does not define you. Wherever you may find yourself in the season of life, good or bad that doesn’t define you either. Your performance and everything you do does not define you. The only thing that does is the love of God.

Remember, you’re not your mind.

If you can, relate, comment below, because we weren’t made to do this life alone. And in the days of growing and stretching, we need to be here to lift each other up and I’ll be praying for you!

Remember who you are in Christ, and keep pressing on! Every day we are all one step closer to “ well done my good and faithful one!”

Keep going! 🖤

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Hebrews 12: 1-3
