My friend, good morning! Or good afternoon whatever this may find you at the time you read it.

I wanted to give you a post encouragement, as today is a new day of something to celebrate!

Spring is here!

Now, for some of us, it may not feel like spring. These last couple of days in Michigan it has been raining and snowing, the furthest thing from spring.

But you know what, nevertheless, spring is here! It is a new dawn, a new day, a new season, and a fresh start. And we all have a choice!

In the spring, we all have a choice, as we come out of the slumber of a dark, long and dreary season, the promise of new, Hope, light and joy in a season of celebrating our risen, savior!

We can stay in our slumber, or we can rise up in the new season. Come out of the dark days, come out of your sorrow, come out of your depression, because it is a new season. Today is a new day to celebrate!

A promise of growth, a promise of light, a promise of Hope and joy in the bright colors and love surrounding this season. My friends, it's not a wasted season. A bed of flowers must die in the winter, drown in the rain, with a promise of restoration to their full glory and majesty, and full color arising in the spring.

You are more than just a lowly flower, but if God can redeem them, how much more will he redeem us, and restore the love and light enjoy to our lives in this new season.

May this be a reminder, to live another day, to smile, another smile, to get outdoors, and go for a walk, to find the sunshine and raise of joy in your life, surrounded by friends and family. Don't waste the season, it's time to begin again.

Happy first day of spring, my friend!đź’–

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Hebrews 12: 1-3
